Albina L. Spilla, 83, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on December 7, 1934 in Snow Shoe, she was the daughter of the late Michael E. and Susan Almashie Kachonick. On March 26, 1951, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Clarence, she married Steve A. Spilla, who survives at home
Albina attended the Snow Shoe High School. She was a life member of Queen of Archangels Roman Catholic Parish Church in Clarence. She was homemaker.
Albina enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her vegetable garden. She looked forward to rides in the woods with Steve. Her greatest pastime was providing a warm and loving home for her family.
Albina is survived by one daughter Cheryl Pash and her husband, Mike, of Grassflat, one son, Kenneth L. Spilla of Snow Shoe, and four grandchildren; Brandon Pash, Amos Perts, Lesha Perts, and Novis Perts.
Also, surviving Albina are her two sisters; Martha Leigey of Brockport and Mary Ann Kunes of State College and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Albina was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Perts, two brothers; George Kachonick and Michael Kachonick and three sisters; Elizabeth Kachonick, Helen Kachonick, and Margaret Stania.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 6-8pm with a rosary service at 7:45pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11am at the Queen of Archangels Roman Catholic Parish Church in Clarence with Father Michael Wolfe officiation. Burial will be follow Mass at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Clarence.
