Doris F. Rudolph, 92, of Centre Hall, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Wynwood House in Centre Hall. Born on November 8, 1924, in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Lulu Kugler Freitag. On June 6, 1948, in Queens, New York, she married Edwin H. Rudolph, who passed away on February 26, 2012.
Doris is a 1942 graduate of the Jamaica High School in Queens, New York. She was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church in Spring Mills. She was a homemaker.
Doris enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Doris is survived by her two sons; Robert G. Rudolph and his wife, Elizabeth of Staten Island, NY and Richard H. Rudolph and his wife, Amy, of Centre Hall. Also surviving are her four grandchildren; Michael and his wife, Lorena, Lauren, Christian, and Brianna, and her two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Owen.
Along with her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her only sister, Muriel L. Freitag. Doris was the last of her generation.
In accordance with Doris’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. She will be laid to rest quietly beside her husband in the All Faiths Cemetery, 67-29 Metropolitan Ave, Queens, NY.
