Justena M. “Tena” Sipes, 50, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on November 23, 1965, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of Melvin D. and Brenda J. Bradley Sipes, Sr. of Moshannon.
Tena is a 1984 graduate of Spanishburg High School in West Virginia. She is of the protestant faith. She was employed at the Walmart on the Benner Pike for 15 years, working many position but her last was in the Merchandise Control Department.
Tena loved reading books and watching movies. She was active in the Relay For Life of Happy Valley program for many years. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Tena is survived by her parents, one sister, Windy J. Heverly and her husband, Daniel, of Moshannon, and her best friend, Feebee the cat. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, and her extended family at Walmart.
Tena was preceded in death by a brother, Marlin E. Sipes and a sister, Frances S. Lonberger.
Tena’s wishes were to be cremated with no services. She will be buried at Schenck’s Cemetery on Howard at a later time.
